Starting from your first year at Mason, you’ll get paid work-study experience while performing public service through the four-year Bonner Leadership Program.
Explore the concepts of citizenship and democracy through coursework, then partner with community agencies to gain experience in a variety of areas of civic engagement.
You’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be a leader in creating social change locally, nationally, and globally.
Bonner Leaders are selected from incoming first-year students, and they’ll earn a $3,000 service-based stipend, paid in bi-weekly installments throughout the semester. Eligible students can participate in the program for four years.
